We can't say anything about the arrangements that have him back at work - all we could say was that the parties came to an agreement that was mutually satisfactory to all parties.
But - lol - it's amazing how the writer used the previous discussions - before the issue was resolved - to paint a picture.

"You know it's a bad day when....60 Minutes shows up at your front door"
No employer really wants to look like a total schmuck, especially when it comes to how our military heros are treated. And especially when it becomes front page news (kinda has an adverse effect on business).

Don't mention 60 minutes... lol.
The writer was REALLY wanting to get me or Brad to say 'anything' - but we couldn't. I thought she did an amazing job of making it very 'clear' what happened - with us having to say nothing. *grin*

Donna,
Having grown up in as a military brat and seeing what my mom went through we all owe both you and Brad all the thanks in the world for what you both go through for our country. As an old vet I thank you both from the bottom of my heart! My you and Brad be safe, and my thoughts will be with him during this deployment.

Donna,
This is my favorite part "AT&T spokeswoman Sarah Andreani, who had previously denied Beard's military obligations played any part in his termination, declined to comment."...haha.. I'm sure she enjoyed THAT call.
Leon, agree with everything you said and we're grateful for your son also! I'll say a prayer for his safety!

*lol* I know! I loved it. They couldn't say anymore than 'we' could say because of the same agreement. ;-)

This kind of thing almost exactly why "freedom of the press" was invented. I say "almost" because they're supposed to keep an eye on the government as well, but these days the big corps need as much watching. | | | |

I'm not a Chronicle fan at all, but I'm glad they were able to help you and your husband out. Very glad.
I read that he'll be shipping out next week. Godspeed to him, and may he and his unit stay safe.
