When shooting a wedding in an airplane hanger, do NOT- I repeat- DO NOT- walk into the wing of the plane and scratch your cornea.

I'm just sayin'......

Are you going to be okay?!

Wow. What're the odds of that happening to anyone?

lol... Yep. The show went on! I kept shooting for almost 3 hours after that. Can't see worth a darn out of my left eye today... but the pictures turned out! Ha!

I'm betting I don't do that again.

Was it your 'shooting' eye? Thank God for auto-focus cameras. What would you have done back in the manual focus days?

OUCH OUCH OUCH! Been there, done that, though not with an airplane wing. :) I was born with a good eye and a blind eye. Yep, you guessed it, my injury was to the good eye at the hands of a 2 year old with a hole punch. (I was working on kindergarten project folders at the time.) All of the eye injuries have been to the good eye OY!

I am so sorry that you injured your eye. I hope that it will ultimately be ok, and not hurt too much in the meantime. Wow, I don't know how you completed the shoot! I couldn't open my eye for a few days without it freaking on me.

heres one, when you're taking self portraits and wearing slippers on a wood floor and going to reposition the camera while trying to be quick before the timer goes off, dont trip over a prop on the floor and bust your kneecap. Another reason to get a remote...d'oh!

Did you just 'wing it' after that?

I'm kinda thinkin that if you ran into the wing of an airplane, your eye was scratched to begin with.... I mean, its not like a WING isn't obvious or anything...

Who would leave a plane in a hangar where a wedding was going on anyway? That's just silly!

Gosh, hope you end up OK. My left eye is my "shooting" eye so I'd really be in a world of hurt if that happened to me.
