Whoo Hoo - I just had to share!

After 8 1/2 months and 2 surgeries, I am "almost" pain free! As some of you know, I broke my ankle in 4 places New Year's Day. On Thursday, I had surgery again to remove a rogue screw that was rubbing against a tendon. While the incision is still tender, the extreme knife-like pain on the inside of my ankle with every stinking step is GONE!!! I am almost walking without a limp for the first time this year. After the incision heals and some PT again, I might even be able to wear heels again!!!! (you women will understand). Not a big deal for those reading but life changing for me as I never thought it would be the same again!!!!!

Glad the surgery went well! Here is to a quick recovery, but sorry, I wouldn't wish heels on anyone ;)

Thanks, chica! It will be sooooo nice to get back to some sort of normal - and I like high heels. Call me weird. It's not so off base.

*HA* A knee injury was the best thing that ever happened to me -I 'hate' heels. Seriously - you know men created those dumba$$ things - let THEM walk around on their toes all dang day. *ha ha* SO now - I just don't do it...
