Ok, so I am giddy, but oh happy day, it rained here! Almost an inch and a half! [Doing the happy dance]!

So long as you aint doing that dance naked, I'm happy for you! It rained a bit here as well. Just enough to cool everything down.

In the last week I have shot pictures in the rain on Friday night, went hunting out in the rain on Monday, and on Tuesday went riding a fourwheeler through the mud on a backroad in the rain... and the good lord willing, I'd like to run around again on Saturday in the rain while scouting a photoshoot that I have to do.

As I told a friend, I will never complain about rain -- maybe about having to be in it, but not about the fact that it is here.

Congrats Murph -- hope ya'll get enough to last ya

Nevermind -- I'll take care of it myself!

Austin should be getting some. Perhaps it is hit or miss, like so many rainfalls we've had.

The Statesman's email the other day noted rain was in the forecast and Austin had already had .03 inches. Imagine the drought being so bad that you get excited over three one-hundredths of an inch of rain.

I think Killeen is at about an inch and a half. So far it has been a good slow soaking rain.

It's been raining in Cedar Park off and on since about 8pm last night. Nice, slow soaking rain, exactly what we need.

Was in SA past weekend, last Friday night brought some at the folks' house. Good to hear there's more, but let's spread it out a bit. Too much and it just goes into the rivers.

I think the mosquitos enjoyed it as much as anyone. They were incredibly thick. Even in SA.
