The best beer brewed in belgium is highly subject to ones palette. The highest rated beer out of belgium as usually Westvleteren 12, which is an incredible brew well worth the ratings. My personal favorites bounce around depending on my mood, but I would have to say Leffe for a reasonably priced 6 pack and Saison DuPont for the bomber side right now.

What I tell any customer I get that doesn't like the beer or wine I have open to sample: Who friggin cares you drink as long as you enjoy it? Thats the point of drinking it to begin with.
