... doing a 'webinar?' Or some sort of workshop over the interent?

PP work would be a GREAT one to have, and there are all kinds of ways to get it done. Yahoo Messenger, any of the chat rooms, or pay sites like GoToMeeting.com

There wouldn't be any overhead because you dont have to rent a hotel or conference center, no food for attendees, no materials to supply, and everyone already has their own programs/computers.

You could make it like a 4 hour course, limited to 'x' amount of people (5, 10, 20), and give instructions via VOIP, or through screen shots broacasted over the network.

Questions could be sorted through a 'moderator' so that everyone isn't trying to talk at one time, but addressed to the 'class' as a whole. And the instructor could go through things like how to apply (for example) skin softening techniques.

There are lots of video podcasts that pretty much do that. They generally will take questions and cover them in a later podcast and they are free.

Do you have to have a feed burner account or anything? I have a Zune, and I have a few podcasts like Joel Osteen and such through my zune account, but I dont know how to add them.

Nope, I just use iTunes on my Mac Pro. Leave them all on there and when I have a chance, I watch some to brush up on PS> I am scheduled for more learning time sometime in 2012.

Youtube?

Seriously. Ive learned so much on youtube. Right now im learning how to develop my own film, and the first place I went to was youtube. Ive found so many good videos on how to do certain darkroom procedures and they walk you through it on the video.

Its like taking a class...but for free.

Yeah, they are def. out there, but the best thing I've seen yet, on FWForum, they have critique sessions up for auction. The highest bidder gets to have their work critiqued (a full wedding) by one of the top photogs in the nation/world. The great thing about this is that we all get to sign on and listen while they do the "live" critique, and we can talk on the side (type written). I watched one with Anna Kuperberg who was the critiquer, and I learned sooo much. The guy's images were great that she critiqued, but there were still things to be learned. I think this is the second time in my life that I reevaluated the way I shoot. The first time was when a National Geographic photographer told me, many years ago, that my work was "typical". As much as that hurt (now, keep in mind, apparently they say Steve McCurry is "typical"), it changed the way I shot from then on out. So, if you ever have a chance to sit in on a session like this, I highly suggest it!
