" Someone had the great idea of putting a high-pressure, heat-resistant camera inside the cylinder of a four-stroke engine. Shooting at 1000 fps, the camera recorded just exactly what happens to make engines run. Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow!"

It is interesting to see the orange flame develop. Most of the air/fuel mixture seems to burn pretty clean, but there is orange around that intake valve and on some of the surface of the piston. I'm guessing it is a buildup or liquid (too much fuel and not enough air) that causes the orange flame vs. a blue/invisible flame (properly mixed air/fuel ratio) throughout the rest of the cylinder.

This camera could help lead to even better fuel economy, which is a good thing!
