What should I charge for team pictures?

I have a friend that I used to coach with that wants me to take pictures of his two cheer teams. Possibly some individuals also. Its about 1 hour and 15 minutes away. What should I charge? I'm kind of lost here as far as what to charge for a travel fee and what prints and package prices I should use.

Nena, I hope I don't sound rude, but this question has been asked numerous times on this forum and the answer is different for every person. Take a little bit of time to use the search feature and I am sure you will find some helfpul information.

I don't recommend patterning your business exactly like someone else's, but you might find a photographer who does the same type of work in your area to get an idea of the package structure and basic pricing. Then determine if you'll charge for your time or distance with the travel fee.
