Which version are you using? I've had issues with iTunes on my old iMac (it won't let me upgrade anymore unless I upgrade the OS). But as long as I've got the latest version, the only thing that sucks is my money out the window when I buy stuff. I (big red heart) iTunes.

I just updated to 9.somethingorother today. This was a pretty quick update since iTunes 9 came out not that long ago.

That is because iTune 9 was an infestation of buggie critters! I updated to 9 when it came out. Immediately, I was unable to use it, as it would shut down as soon as it started to load the store. So we waited for the updates, and they didn't help. I finally had to find 8.2, delete all my music, then itunes off my computer. Reinstally 8.2, then music. That was just a couple days ago. It was a total pain!

Hey Richard!
Ya, that was the update we waited for that did not fix whatever problem I had. I will keep 8.2 for now. This taught me a valuable lesson, don't update for two weeks after they come out!

Heather, are you using a mac or pc?
When I would try to sync my iPhone with my 3 year old toshiba, it would completely brick the phone. I haven't had ANY problems since I got a mac. I don't like the new iTunes layout, I liked the old one better.

The fatal flaw is the entire sync idea. Drag n drop is much easier.....

140G collection of music, books, and videos.
Always download the latest software updates and no glitchs.
This is on a Mac. Windoze machines may have a different experience.

Sam, I use a PC. We haunted the itunes support, forums and all when it first happened and tried several ideas and nothing but downgrading worked.

There is an option for drag-n-drop, which I use, so I don't have to sync.
