Crazy weather this year...

especially in the middle of the night. Last hard rain in the middle of the night was back in April when we got flooded out. Tonight/This morning, I awoke in the midst of the storm front blowing through. As I watched the water creep up the lawn, I was thinking, here we go again....

Luckily, the storms were moving through and not squatting like they did last time. According to the nearby rain gauge, the rainfall was at a rate of 5 inches an hour, starting at 330am at 34.10 and ending at 4am at 36.70.

Yeah it was so bad this morning, plus the wind. I had to do check around the house to make sure nothing got broken.

yup, i'm up now because of a nervous chihuahua. she's calm now, going back to bed, lol.

because at 3am it was raining pretty hard and the storm woke me up
