Deja Vu - 10-04-2009, 06:06 PM

I often have memories of future events, that is, I can remember events that seem to me in the past, but are in the future. I have several of these memories associated with my back yard.

I remember that my neighbor lady is going to complain about the buckets of water that I have in my back yard.

I remember getting a citation for tall weeds in the ally behind my fence.

I remember the frustration of not being able to get the weeds in the ally mowed.

One explanation is that I'm actually seeing the future. Another is that I'm remembering events that have actually happened, because my current life is merely a simulation, replying my actual life. Yet another explanation is that my memory is short-circuiting, so that when I store new memories, sometimes I perceive them as old memories.

A deja vu triggers a foresight and/or vice versa. Very interesting.

Rather than you backyard work on memories of future commodity prices.

One explanation of dejavu is a momentary non perceptible loss of consciousness which leads to most of the current thoughts in your head as being stored and retrieved as memories (those things which we would normally perceive as current thought)

This would explain why most of the things on your list are items that would seem to be worrying you and possibly occupying your current thought processes.

Nevermind -- I'll take care of it myself!

I would have expected that a momentary loss of consciousness would result in a loss of memories.

I've suspected for several years that I might have some form of epilepsy, and epilepsy is one cause for feelings of deja vu. However, this form of deja vu appears to differ from what I experience. Besides, no one has shown that I have epilepsy.

A year or two ago, I had a dream that I would had a happy home, some of my dreams come true, in a place that had a certain stylized sun, moon and stars. When I moved into this house, I found the previous owners had decorated the guest bathroom with those same sun, moon and stars that I saw in my dream. I enjoy looking at them.
