Really? I thought Tom's comment was at the very least flippant, and could easily be interpreted as "one less photographer in the world is good for me". Now I know Tom's a pretty irreverent guy and occasionally even tries to be humorous, so I didn't think there was any actual animosity in his post. But he did kind of set himself up for the reply he got from Stovall, and IMHO it was deserved (and a even a bit funny).

As great a Photographer as he was, he was an even better printer.
