Even the cops listen to Tom. He makes a statement on TPF and they listen.

I wonder if it's against policy to shoot the radiator. I say blast it once or twice with a shotgun and he'll be locked up in a few minutes. There may be safety issues here that I'm not thinking about though.

Those spiked strips would be much safer than shooting. It is really hard to drive a truck with one or more flats, even more so after the tires shred off and you are driving on rims. Dang and I missed the whole thing!

Listened to part of it on KRLD.

Sounds like the most boring chase... ever!

Cops were just waiting for the chance to drag him out of the
truck and beat the s&%t out of him. LOL

I think spike strips take longer, and you also have to guess which way the perp is going to go, then it's no guarantee that he's going to hit em. I say have a cop car with a driver and a shooter, end of chase.

It's a boring day in the metroplex evidently. They'll normally chase until the thrill wears off.....

The cost to have 15+ Law enforcement officers and their vehicles devoted to this for so long. The danger and inconvenience posed to citizens. There's got to be a better way. Perhaps a few responsibly placed bullets would have stopped this sooner and others to follow. I remember the last DFW chase, it resulted in a crash into an innocent victim's truck. If that innocent victim had been a prominent person, say Jerry Jones, Tom Hicks, the Mayor etc. and they would have been killed this nonsense would not be allowed to go on.

And the cost of that lovely chase???

I think my toddler could show them how to PIT move....sad. There are CHIPS officers that are laughing at our crappy chases.

Stick to shooting them, save us the time.
