I'm not putting this in market square because I don't know yet if I have an extra ticket or not, and since I'm not sure if I'll have something to sell or not, I hope it's okay in open talk (if not, mods, please move it). If my husband doesn't feel better soon, it is entirely likely that I will have one extra ticket to tonight's show @ Cowboy Stadium. I'll have to look up where our seats are, but are on the club level (I think) and they were around $100/seat. IF he is still sick as a dog by later this afternoon and decides that he can't make it (he loves U2, so this really sucks for him), then I'd at least like to start figuring out my options for getting that seat filled. So, if you have an interest in the ticket, please let me know.

Jake, if my husband doesn't rally soon (and, he's trying, believe me), I'd rather have someone go that will really enjoy the show than not. I'll let you know.

He's climbed out of bed.....still iffy, though. Getting him to make a call soon. I feel so bad for him - he's been counting the days to this concert since the tickets went on sale.

Hah - Wayne, you're not the only one who said that! For anyone but U2 (okay, also the Stones), it would definitely be a no-go.

I know! I don't think it is. Not really flu symptoms. He's currently rallying.....somewhat. Gatorade as a miracle drug.

My BFF wanted to go so bad,but he couldn't afford the $100 and up tickets, plus parking. He was gonna try to snag one of those $30 standing room tickets, but I think he missed out on those... Email me if you still have the ticket and I'll ask him if he can scrape together any cash. He would die to go...

Heard that they actually sold some tickets at the boxoffice that were under $50 to pack the house to over 70,000 fans.

Paul, wow, given that I bought 4 tickets at full $100/price, that's disappointing to hear, but a great deal for the last minute folks. I did not notice people trying to sell tickets like I have at previous shows, though. Did your friend go out and try to get one? I'm glad we bought a parking pass - lots across the street wanted way more than the $27 we paid for the parking. Exiting the stadium parking lot was very slow - they need to work on getting a crowd out faster. My husband toughed out the show and was glad he did.
