Less than 20 feet outside of my window I just heard a kid who had to be less than 10 scream "F*CK YOU N***RS" at the top of his lungs. I can't wait till I can afford to buy a house...

You know you live in the ghetto when the only person in your complex who recieves The Wall Street Journal is a young woman who recieve gentleman callers, at regular intervals, three nights a week.

I don't think I'm in the ghetto, but I think my apartment complex is slowly getting there. The amount of bass speakers booming past has increased over the past few months...

Unfortunately - one of the things I'm going to miss about Brad being gone - is his absolute lack of concern when he walks outside and tells the kids sitting in their cars, with the 'boom boom boom' crap going on... to turn it down.

When we bought our house - we did it - knowing that Tori would (God willing) never attend public school. So the things that some folks look at (such as schools, etc) weren't a big deal. Great for us... bad for resale value. With the issue with Brad's job and the concern we had with nt being able to enroll her in school - my choice was to homeschool. Because the 'school' was no choice at all.

We have decent neighbors... there's just quite a few teenagers that need to have a serious reality check with manners that live in the area.

Just about everyone on my street seems decent, hard working and quiet, but the people in one house across the street often drive up with their radios blasting, and then they sit there for several minutes. Tonight was the first time I heard them making such a racket after 11 P.M. I don't think it's just his children doing this, either.
