How do tie your shoes ?

How do tie your shoes ? - 10-21-2009, 12:47 AM

I just got my shoes and now I want to learn to tie them up.
What's the best knot to use? Should I use leather or cloth ?
Is it better to tie them before or after I put them on ?
I'm new so go easy.

Tom, It looks like you have at least eight hours of experience now. Have you considered offering a shoe tying workshop. I would be interested in attending.

And Ken, I'm certainly no expert, but that seems to me to be a pretty stupid suggestion. But maybe I will give it a try and get back to you.

I find that the slip on kind is the best kind to use but mine hurt my feet and my toes are bunched up on the end. How can I solve that?

Tie your shoes...

They don't do that anymore, they just wear them with no laces or with the laces in there and not tied...Get with the times.
