Just got my 7 Million Dollar Home in the mail... Here is the unboxing and setup...
Also, sorry for the cell pics, I'll get my wife's P&S and take some soon... :)

Package:

Wrapped:

SO clean!:

As it came to me:

My setup w/ the 13-inch MackBook inside:

Added to all the flap pocketsw, and then this. On the left is my MacBook charger, and underneath it my Canon 85/1.8. On the right is my 30D charger, and Achiever Flashgun (I love that word lol):

With the gripped 30D:

And of course, these are "hidden" in the bag as well. The battery is a good point of reference for size... :) And yes, I use them all the time. Not for defense, but for other things, like opening the box this bag came in. But the main purpose is if I need them to protect myself. :)

Thanks!

One thing I love on this bag are the sides, where you can slide stuff down in it between the outside and the main compartment. Quick, easy access, as well as somewhere that non-Crumpler-owners probably wouldn't think to look. Tonight I am going to test and see if the Glock will fit in there safely. I might take a few pics and post them. :)

Also, I went back to a non-laptop configuration. I didn't like the way it closed with it in there, so I am just going to carry two bags; the 7MDH and a generic laptop bag. After doing that to go home last night and into work today, I prefer it. Very comfy. Plus, when I want to just take the camera somewhere w/out the laptop, like most weekends, I don't have to change anything, just grab my bag and go... :)

Nice, let us know how you like it after you've had it a while. I've looked at some of those types and been worried about stuff moving around in there too much.(of course in the old days i just threw everything in a ruck sac lol).

It is a pain going on a shoot and having to take two bags if I need the laptop though. Mostly I don't take it for nature stuff. I'll just look at it when i get home. but for more technical stuff i'd like to look at the pics full screen first before leaving location to make sure I didn't need to change anything that you couldn't see on th elcd.

Been looking at a bag for paid shoots where I want to have the kitchen sink with me so to speak and my laptop.

this used to be available a little bigger in backpack style, can't find it right now though.
