Any Ft. Hood people check in when you can. So far 2 in custody, 1 being sought per Fox 4 and 7 dead and 20 wounded. Proof that evil exists!

A senior administration official told NBC News analyst Roger Cressey that one of the suspects who was in custody was an Army major..

One of the shooter's identity is Major Malik Nadal Hasan. .

12 killed, 31 wounded.

They picked 2 locations where the soldiers wouldn't be armed.

I am SO thankful that Brad is not at Ft. Hood this time - that's where his unit outprocessed last deployment.

Seems like it is winding down. Businesses and schools (many, not all) are locked down or have police officers patrolling nearby. It was unknown how widespread all this was.

I think it is still shaking out. I've heard Major Sergeant, Sergeant Major and Major. The first doesn't exist. I'm guessing it'll take awhile to learn the whole story. It sounds like a coordinated effort, so what was the motivation? Those of us who remember Luby's remember that it can take a couple of days to learn more, or longer.
