1. Does anyone know a cheaper place to go Portraiture?

2. About Texas School 2010- Is all Events going to be held at Intercont. Hotel and convention center? are there more motels within walking distances ?

There really are a few places within a mile or so of the hotel up there.

Thanks Paul.... I just think $105 a night is expensive to sleep since all the fun things are going on..... We are never in the room!

What I hear from the steering folks is that most will be in the Intercontinental, but the wedding classes will for the most part be up the road at Prestonwood Baptist Church. A nice little place in Plano. I think the history page will give you a look at the main sanctuary as well as the chapel (around the 2:15 mark).

The school is too big to have it all at the hotel. There will be classes at the Addison Conference Center, Prestonwood Baptist Church, and probably a fourth location. The only hotel within walking distance is in the same price range. There is a Staybridge Suites about a half mile north up the tollway (Google Maps). Or you might wait and see which class you get and find lodging closer to your class.

Don~ Thanks..... I will have reward point for LaQuinta ... Just will stay there and drive... I hate that cuz we will not make it to any of the events in the afternoons.... so we will see... I am ready for TEXAS SCHOOL.

Kym - have you tried priceline? We stay at the nicer hotels, for less than what your paying for LaQuinta. If I'm gonna drive to everything ANYWAY - I might as well stay at a NICER hotel, and enjoy it. ;-)
