Does Lowes ever do 20% off coupons? - 11-11-2009, 03:52 PM

I have to buy an expensive floor. I found 10% off and was wondering if they ever do more than that? Does anyone know how to get hooked up with the Lowes coupons?

My item isnt on sale either. :o( Last year I paid 50 cents a tile. Reg price is 88 cents a tile. I need 2,000 tiles. That adds up to be quite a chunk.

Anyway, any help or suggestions you guys have would be awesome!

if you go to the post office and get one of those change of address packets, there is a 20% lowes coupon in there.

hmmm...20% or 10%? we frequent the post office just for the lowe's coupon. all we have are the 10% kind. the only "20%" coupon i've ever had from lowes was a $10 off a $50 purchase. I do hope, however, you are correct about it being 20% now. i'll have to send the wife over.

have you tried to see if their manager will give you a discount for buying that many tiles? I don't know how many square feet you are looking to cover. if it's 500 sq ft, most likely no deal. if it's over 2000 sq ft, you might have a leg to stand on. it's worth a shot.

as a side note. home depot also honors lowes' coupons.

Lowe's touts that it will match or beat prices on exact merchandise priced lower by competitors, but that might not include prices with a coupon.

We've got some surplus places around here that look dumpy and then have very nice imported Italian tile by the truckload. If you have a place like that, my only advice is to buy enough extra for future repairs or expansion. The stock at those places changes a lot and you might never be able to find the matching floor again. That's actually happened to us at Lowe's, where we've bought flooring and wanted more six months later to find it's been discontinued.
