This is great stuff!!! But pic #3... is it reversed, or is that a rifle for a lefty? The bolt handle is on the wrong side.

My post was definitely in jest. I actually used to assist with Robb Kendrick who was just starting to get into tintypes. He explained the process to me and it was super interesting. Here's some of his work for the NYT:

HOLY COW! Did you catch some of the prices on that stuff? I used to make some of my own uniform pieces when I was a re-enactor so I know some of the material can be pricey, but a $6000 overcoat is ridiculous. Even all hand stitched that's way overpriced.
