A group of friends/families have a party which includes children at the park and this is what they leave behind without cleaning up after themselvies. What are they teaching their kids?? The picnic tables were much worse. Dirty diapers left on the tables....

I know. I don't understand what is wrong with our society. I was behind a new BMW in traffic yesterday and they were throwing trash out of their car like crazy. I guess ignorance and stupidity cuts across all classes and levels of society.

This happened on a beach outside of Keesler AFB when I was stationed there. A bunch of Marine boots decided to have a good time at the beach and left a huge pile of beer cans and trash. My wife and a friend of mine were with me a little ways down the beach and my wife told them they better clean that **** up. They decided to yell at my wife instead, which was a pretty bad idea because my buddy visiting us just happened to be a Marine Corporal. Watching a bunch of drunk marines cleaning up a beach at 2 am with tails between their legs is absolutely priceless

And yet they hassle photographers who do none of these things.

Great topic... This brings up a question I have had in my mind for a long time. Sometimes I wonder if we should photograph and post the trash in our pictures. I have to shoot around a lot of junk to get those priceless shots "you wish you were here shots." And I pack out as much of it as I can. But I feel guilty for creating a "false" picture. Anyone else feel the same?

Fixed above post. It was pretty funny as orginally posted.

A few years ago I saw a guy with a "Don't Mess With Texas" shirt dumping garbage in a field.

I suspect by tomorrow the person who rented the pavilion will hear from the city.

The city workers who had to clean up the mess as well as myself and others filed complaints..

As a teacher I always make my kiddos clean up after themselves. This is repulsive and not teaching kids basic manners.

The people who left the mess would be the same ones that would complain the loudest if they came to the park and found a mess like this.

I wish the city could slap them with a "clean up" fee, kinda like when you trash a rental car or hotel room.....seems only fair! My taxpayer dollars go to fix these things, when they could be better spent paying police officers or teachers more.

According to one of the cleaning crew since they have a record on file of who rented the pavilion they will be able to bill that person... I hope so..
