Just realized I didn't add a space for the website...

I wish I could get some print samples from somewhere, I kind of like this style but want to see what it would look like on nice card stock with UV ink...

I am still liking the minimalist approach, but I would avoid the stark white background. The white overpowers the text and design somewhat. Have you thought of reversing that? Try a black background with white text and logo. Not as overpowering as the all white background plus you make good use of negative space, providing a bolder visual impact.

I left the backround all white because I was thinking of printing on an off white paper. I think that paired with UV ink would take away some of the over powering properties...

There is still something... something off about that design and it shows, specially in the typography and the letter spacings (I'm just being honest, you did ask for c&c). The logo is actually pretty good, just needs a bit of polishing, I think from a business point of view, both the logo and business card are vital, and you should probably consider getting a pro to do it (anyone should)

Asking photographers for design advise is as good as asking a designer for advice with photographing a wedding :(

I hear ya and thanks for the c&c. At this point when I haven't even started anything yet I wont be able to afford a pro to design something for me, so I'll just have to do the best I can :)

Unfortunately, true. In the meantime I think the lowercase jmc Images with the camera would work for now. Try to simplify the camera icon (or find one).

I think your second design is worlds better than the first. You are on the right track.
