Ok, I've seen two totally different commercials for Avatar movies. Are there two different Avatar movies? Is the one coming out in Dec. based on the series because it doesn't seem to be, and yet it is called Avatar. I'm really looking forward to the one with the air bender, but then I saw that other last night and was totally confused.

They look like video games to me. I just can't get into those movies... Wish I could!

Yea, there's a sci-fi movie directed by James Cameron titled Avatar coming out at the end of this year.

There's an Avatar movie that has nothing to do with the Nickelodeon series, not sure if it's based off of anything. Then there's "The Last Airbender" which is based off the Nickelodeon series (which I'm interested in as well). I think it's just coincidence they are coming out at about the same time. The title "The Last Airbender" was probably picked so that it wouldn't get confused with the other "Avatar" movie.

That's weird that two Avatar movies are coming out. What I'm wondering, this James Cameron one, does it have anything to do with the series because it doesn't look like it does. It looks like something totally different but using that same name.

Lol, I usually don't, Andrew, but I REALLY want to go see the Air Bender one.

Yeah, even the "logo" for the James Cameron Avatar looks about the same as the Nick series. That bothers me more than having the same name.

To confuse matter even more, there's also an Avatar cartoon movie for kids, which features a little monk dude with arrow on his head :)

Lol, isn't he the Last Air Bender dude? That's what the one movie is based on, him and the Fire Nation and such.
