Verizon Wireless - 11-23-2009, 07:36 PM

I been with Verizon Wireless, was with Altell for a year now. Now I am so furious with them. I brought Blackberry Storm from last July of this year within two months the blackberry storm was relooping over and over all day and night. It was damaged. So I took to Verizon back and got Blackberry Tour then two months later it got trackball issues so they replace a brand new Tour. Now it's wearing out. So I was wondering if any of you guys are Verizon rep or work there could at least give me tips how I can get different phone like Eris, Droid, or etc besides get baclkberry again since they said the discount price will be 2011, I can't wait that long. Anyone can help me? I tried talked with Verizon rep but they are no help at all and so rude. Let me know!

My brother in law works for iGo which makes car chargers for several different phones and other devices and has always had an old AT&T palm, until the droid came out. He's hooked on it and loves it, so I would give it a try. Blackberry's are solid devices, probably the best PDA on the market when it has the BES service, but if you don't have that you have a mid-range PDA at best.

Its not their fault that the phones have technical issues. I work very closely with sprint with my companies account and we have constant technical issues with the phones.

These cell phones are all made in either china or mexico and they have terrible quality control. Yes, even the blackberries.

Cell phones are disposable devices. Their not made to last. Its not Verizons fault. Its the phone manufacturers.

Yes that's true it's not their faults but don't you think to serve to make the costumers happy instead getting same model of phone to replace every two months? that's not worth it. It's waste of time. It just would be nice if I could get different brand of phone at half price instead pay in full retail price.

They can only do what their policy allows them. The way it works is when they sold you that blackberry it came with a 1 year limited warranty which covers it under factory defects. (which happens alot, which is why there is a warranty)

So as long as that phone is under the warranty, they can replace it with another phone of the same type. They cant just GIVE you another phone, especially one of a higher value like the droid. They have to work within the obligations of their contracts with the phone manufacturers.

To expect them to replace your blackberry with a driod is a little absurd. I understand your frustration, but this is the kinda stuff that is laid out in that fine print that no one reads.

Only reason I know is because I work so closely with sprint due to the fact that we have close to 400 lines with them.
