Cool Just saw Zombieland at the $1 theatre - 11-28-2009, 04:16 PM

IT is FUNNY AS ALL GET OUT!
Some cussing, a lot of Zombie Violence, some really funny tongue in cheek humor that had the crowd in the theatre all laughing. (no nudity that I saw not even zombie butt)

For the type of movie that it is trying to be it excells at it.
2 thumbs up with a 9.5 on the scale of 1-10. Not going to win any oscars unless for makeup but still worth seeing.

BTW about the first half of the movie is in TEXAS! (though it was shot in Georgia).

Even has a major guest star!

Woody Harrelson was perfect in this show!

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeze, I haven't seen a $1 movie house in a hundred years. Houston sure doesn't have one.

Thanks for the review.

Heather, the one I went to is on Shiloh road in Garland just north of LBJ but I think there is one in Plano area also. Cinemark has a few of them in town. ($1.75 after 6pm-$1.00 before 6 and on some days).

Suprised that Houston doesn't have any down there.

It is a funny movie but not for kids because more of the language than the violence but that does get a bit off the wall too. (when it hits video it would be worth renting). HEard that there will be a sequal and it may be in 3-D!!!! Jeeze, Zombie Heads Blown Up in 3-D!

I saw it in the theater and LMAO'd. I wanted to be the stripper zombie for Halloween from the opening credits, but was too lazy to do the makeup. I loved that movie, and cant wait to buy it on dvd.

It's a great movie which included a major life lesson: "don't forget to double tap".

Also, wear your seatbelt, cardio, check the back seat of the car, always leave yourself an escape route and a few more rules of survival.

The sequal is open to all sorts of things, maybe Arnie as a Zombie? (Our Gov is a Zombie!)
