Reprints of Watercolor Painting - 12-01-2009, 10:20 PM

Does anyone know of a good company that can recreate prints of a watercolor painting? The paintings were created by my dad who passed 10 years ago and I would like to do limited edition prints of his work.

Most of the paintings are at my mother's house in McKinney so a dallas area company would be easiest.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

patrick - i have someone doing some digital work for me and i'll let you know if she can pull it off - she's charging enough. i should be seeing some work in the next week or so, if it's good - i'll pass her name along to you.

Patrick;

Do a search for "glicee" printers in your area. Dallas has many and almost all have high resolution large format scanners to make the original scan. Prices have dropped by a factor of three in the last 10 years. Good luck.

There is a place in downtown McKinney (Orisons) that you might want to check out. They routinely scan original paintings and do giclee printing. Here's a link to their website.

Orisons | Fine Art Reproduction | Giclee Printing | Custom Art Framing | G Harvey | Photo to Canvas | McKinney Texas

Gigantic Color does scans and Giclee prints... Gigantic Color

I've used them to do some pretty important work, and they handled it well.
