I'm a junior at Westlake Academy and am on our first ever prom planning committee (the first senior class graduates this year!).
While I would love to do the job myself (kind of a control freak...), I'm actually going to prom so my job is to find someone to photograph.
Please post your name and contact information if you're interested. Preferably post your website (if you have one) so we can take a look at your stuff. Otherwise, please post a few examples.
If you're uncomfortable doing so, send me a private message.
We're unsure of details as of now (I'll post them as soon as I have them), but we know it will be a Friday or Saturday night (8-midnight) somewhere in the DFW metroplex in April.
Thanks!

I haven't covered an event like this, but would be willing to assist someone who has unless the Westlake Academy prom:
• is on the night of the wedding in April I'm already booked for (April 17).
• is on my own wedding anniversary (April 24).

Come on... what would be a better anniversary night for your wife than to ask her to help assist shooting a prom?!? Sounds like a dream date to me!

It would be our chance to go to prom together, considering we didn't meet until we were both working at the Lubbock paper!

She does still have her senior prom dress, too.

Don't take everything so seriously. It was a joke, because you are young enough that those girls would be fair game for you. That would've been all I could think about at your age... At least you edited out your comment about business, because this had nothing to do with business, just a joke.

Just seems a little harsh. Especially to say something like that, where this is discussing business matters. A photog being hired. Saying something like that can potentially mess something up. Sorry for gettin sore.
