Welp, on the off-chance that some folks here still shoot slide film and still have some PK mailers, I thought I'd pass this along:
First of all, as you probably know, all Kodak slide mailers (the PK kind) will expire on 12/31/09. Those for prints or those with expiration dates are already no good.
I just got off the phone, however, with a nice lady at Dwaynes, who told me that the mailers must be in their lab by Wednesday, 12/30/09. Given the close proximity to Christmas, to be on the safe side, I plan on mailing off the last of my mailers no later than December 24th.
So, just so's you know -- 12/31 is not a postmark date, and it isn't even a received-by date. It is, in fact, a too late date.
Meanwhile I gotta go get busy. I still have about a dozen mailers left, and I'm not gonna let them go to waste. | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Well, I have 19 rolls left to shoot next year, but I don't have a mailer. I have to get busy shooting.

I looked on eBay. $20/roll seems to be the going price, and seems a bit excessive.
If you are looking for some, I'd be willing to part with a couple rolls at my cost, $10/roll + $1/roll for shipping.

Michael,
Which mailers do you have? I have 2 PK-20 mailers. I haven't seen a 20 exposure roll of anything in a hundred years. All of my Kodachrome is 36 exposures. I guess I need to call Dwayne's.

I emailed Dwayne's asking if I could use PK20 mailers for 24-exp. slide film, and they said yes. I sent one off yesterday, and I have several left that I plan to use before the deadline, so here's hoping I got a straight answer in that email.
The mailers can be used for E-6 too, not just Kodachrome.
