milk bathtub shoot - 12-14-2009, 06:20 PM

I am hoping someone can help me out here. I am looking to do a bathtub shoot and I would like to do it with milk but I don't want to use just milk to fill the bathtub. I want to use milk and water but I don't want it to look like skim milk. I want to try and retain the whiteness. Any idea what kind of ratio I should use to accomplish this?

Use 5 or 6 cups of powdered milk. This should retain enough white color to keep the water milky looking. So water & powdered milk!!

It's been done before. Whoopi worked with photographer Anne Leibowitz on this idea.

I'd interested in what you come up with, Dan.

doesn't dairy have a green cast to it? In a class I took, I was told that it does? Haven't tried it for myself?

I think Daryl Briggs posted a shot in the Human Form forum about a shot he did with milk. He told something about it, try a search.

b) drink milk

ever again!

I don't know if I'd call everything I don't forget sucessful. I hope that wasn't Annie's shot either, it wasn't good at all.

Well, I won't forget it because of how awful it is. If that's success, I don't want a part of that!

Stay away, Allen. It will change your life forever!
