I nominate my recent inquiry re: the SD slot in the Canon 50d. Had I used my glasses and seen that it was the backup battery slot and the icons were a miserable representation of the main battery, I would have saved Able some bandwidth and perhaps a smidge of my self-esteem.

Okay... this wasn't posted here but my nomination for the stupidest question. A passerby asked me "Are you hurt? after I crashed while rollerblading (and not wearing all the appropriate safety gear) resulting in a large gash and a visibly broken wrist...

I know its not photo/forum related but I am still amazed at that one!
