We survived the hurricane of Christmas Eve 2009!
When we awoke, to my surprise, Santa Claus had left an electric guitar for Emma! We now have a budding Nancy Wilson in the living room. A 7 year old with a triple pickup Fender knockoff and a battery powered amp.
Yikes!

I woke up this morning, that counts for something, right?

Usually, when a Texan says, "Top this!", it usually means, "Get ready to call 911!"

When you hand a heavy metal weapon to a 7 year old, can 911 be far behind?
Congratulations Jeff! I was up until about 4:30AM expecting a tree to fall on us or the roof to take off. I woke up when the kids couldn't be held back any longer.

I have a drummer in my house... I've had a drummer in my house since she was nine... I own several pair of noise canceling headphones... and a few pair of hearing protection headsets... lol...
It's hard the first year or so - until they figure it out - but it gets to be alot of fun when you can recognize what they are playing... unfortunately, there is no 'melody' with the drums... lol... she plays snare/bass and tom-toms...
