Been MIA for awhile

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and wonderful Christmas.
Last time I posted I believe was to ask for prayers from my grandpa. We found out he had cancer the very end of Oct. I went to visit him, I didn't want my kids or myself for that matter to remember him on his death bed. He looked bad but he had looked bad for years. We had a little dinner celebration as we were to be at Disney World for Thanksgiving. We were told he had 4-6 months with him.
My grandfather was hospitalized again the week before Thanksgiving. He demanded that we still go on the vacation. He said he would be upset with all of us if we stayed behind because of him. He came home the day we left. Nov. 23rd. This time they told him he had 4-6 weeks. My mom called everyday while we were at Disney to check on him. She got a call on Dec.1st from my grandmother telling her to come home as he had passed in his sleep during the night. I am sad he is gone but so greatful that he isn't suffering any more.
Needless to say Christmas wasn't a huge celebration this year. The kids still enjoyed it with very little decorations etc... By the time we got back to Norfolk after the funeral and being there for my mother and grandmother we had 10 days to get everything done, shopping, wrapping, putting tree up etc...

Any way hope everyone else had a great Holiday season.
I will be around from time to time as you all know I will have questions.

Yes I will be there the 9th through the 13th. I am staying at Opryland too as I got an awesome military rate. So no walking down long dark roads and riding the trolley this time :D
