I just heard this today, and thought I might pass it along. FTW has a waterfall. Yeppers, a real honest to goodness waterfall. I just wish the weather was a little warmer to take a model out there.

Just guessing from the photo but it looks like less than an 8 ft drop but there are a couple nice shelves that are wide enough to get even a couple models on, there are a few little falls scattered around Dallas but they are mostly up small creeks and not too easy to get too, I think there is even one on the Trinity where they put in the old locks back in the late 1800's. So no need to go to Turner Falls for a waterfall shot.

I beat if you enquire on a local canoeist groups website they could lead you to a few more small ones around the area.

Nice! Thanks for the link...used to spend some time in that area, but it's been 15 years since I've been back. Looks like i need to head back.

I thought it was my personal secret spot.
Now there'll be throngs of wannabes all over the place.
Maybe I'll open a lemonade stand ?

or a Sensor Cleaning Service !!

I don't know... I wish there was some sort of reference in the image.
Unless the grass is really tall in the background, I don't think this fall is all that tall...

heh heh... tall fall... heh heh...

I think this comes right from Lake Worth so it probably flows all year. Kind of looked at google maps and it is just a short stretch like this.

Huh.....I drive by this every time I go to Carswell and didn't know! Cool!

If I recall correctly, there are apartments and the tail end of a golf course right in that area, and a couple of private residences on the other side of the street, so no pools or clubhouses. Lots of curious onlookers, tho!
