Yes I understand the "because I CAN afford at $12M wedding dress" mentality, but I've seen a few wedding dresses and no one can tell the difference between diamonds and CZ's or even good quality crystals from over 12" away. Getting close enough to tell the difference - for someone who could afford that dress - would probably get you shot...

Building it and selling it are two different things. If it sells, then we will know, once and for all, that Barnum was correct.

Even at $12 million, it's either going to end up boxed up in a closet after the wedding. Wonder how much it would go on Craigslist for ...

Good thing it comes with a rhinestone-studded veil, otherwise no deal.

100% chance that someone a size too big for it tries to squeeze into it anyway and then thinks it looks great on them. I call it "The Curse of the Strapless Dress"

I guess if the couple was stingy about making payments on time the photog could repeatedly "straighten out the dress" during the bridal portrait. Hmmmm, weren't there some diamonds on the hemline? Where'd they go?

Only one size too small? I wonder if some bridal shops have removed the mirrors in them, because that is the only explanation I can come up with for why some people choose a less than flattering style. Not everyone is built to wear a strapless gown, but that seems to be the trend. Saw some pics from another forum today - everything looks nice except the skin that bulges out the back of the poor bride's dress. Really hard to fix that with processing.

I guess this goes to show that having money is not the same as having taste or class. I don't care for the dress, but even if it was the most beautiful gown in the world and money was no object, isn't there some limit to excess? Apparently not. I did not, however, that it hasn't sold in a year or more, so guess the recession is to blame for that.

As much as I can heap blame on him for many, many things.....even I will give him a pass on this one. Unless he bought this dress for Jenna to wear when she got married.
