Lots of rumors out there about it. I guess it's supposed to bridge the gap between the convenience of an iPhone and the bigger interface of a netbook. Still haven't gotten an iPhone, so I'm not gonna rush on an iSlate.

This tablet thingie is gonna take off sooner than i expected. I've seen and played with many prototypes behind close door at CES, powered with the hybrid screen - Pixel QI and Nvidia Tegra and was quite impressed with the feature and capability. The next-gen e-book can be functioned as netbook/notebook or E-ink reader with a flip of a button. One product i'm looking forward is notion ink, it's priced 1/3 lower than rumored iSlate and got nothing but industry-first technology and feature to boot.

Next week, on the 27th at San Francisco. Apple should be announcing the iSlate, iphone 4.0 and more.... we'll see if this high dollar islate tablet stands a chance.

For the screen ... if it has the same screen as the iPhone and iTouch ... the screen can take some real good abuse.

As for connectivity ... I hope this thing will have least 2 USBs ...

I would assume it will have one of the Samsung Sold State Drives as well since that is apple's main goto for all of their Solid State Hard Drives.

Let's see it this will do better the the Apple Air.
