Some of us are planning a road trip to see the shuttle launch I am doing some lookin around and found some great info including pics from all viewing areas. There is 3 of us in our group and room for one more theres also 6 or so from Rockwall or somewhere lets get some others goin too it would be a chance of a lifetime to see this theres only 5 left

I'm not going and here is my rationalization.

1- 60 hrs stuffed in a car with three other guys.
2- smokers or non smokers.
3- I snore
4- I don't like rock and roll music
5- I don't like Rush Limbaugh
6- Sirius radio might not work
7- Launch on time 40%
8- at my age, when you gotta go, you gotta go.

you guys will have a great time and be talking about this trip for months to come. Damn I wish I was 25 again.....

I guess I could go, if I really wanted to, but I would have to put in for vacation time right now.

I was thinking of a later launch, but those might be getting crowded.

I have a Honda Civic that I usually fill with camping and snacking supplies. I just bought a new tent that is much smaller than the old one, and I sure would like to try it out in the field.

So any Houston groups goin theres two groups from Dallas one from Austin and one from the OKC area I think
