Down on the bottom of the forums page, we see a list of everyone who is on. Does that include everyone who stays signed in, even if they leave the site? Or, do you actually have to be on the forums to show up there? IOW, if you stay signed in to 10 different sites, do you appear to be signed in all the time on each one?

I could be wrong but I think if you're logged in and on the forum you will show up there UNLESS you are in what I like to refer as stealthmode and I know we have several members in that mode.

I am not sure about just being signed on.

But your original premise is incorrect.

There is a privacy setting under edit options in your user CP.

That setting is supposed to keep your name from showing up on that list.

That wasn't my question. I know about the hiding. My point was if you see my name now, while I am typing this, but I leave as soon as I post, does my name still show up, or did it go away with me, showing up again when I come back? No real reason, just wondering.

I hate having to sign in each time. I frequent 8-10 forums everyday, numerous times. Not all photog forums, but various subjects.
