Sort of. I agree with the price being a factor, but with the Apple-ness of it, I expect something around $700 to sell well to MacHeads and others.
It will do everything an iPod Touch will do, just more bettery (that should be a real word). Designed to be a portable multi-media device connected to a 3G (or better) network, it bridges the gap between the small Touch (needs WiFi conection) and a laptop (bulkier, more constrained interface).
I want one!
Big Apple fans are predicting that it will revolutionize the publishing industry by offering a slicker device to read books, but also consume newspaper/magazine/etc. sites without getting ink on their hands.
