I heard the book sucked, but I love this shot on the cover. Its like evil Cinderella lost her pumpkin and is stuck in the woods, and someone is chasing her with a shovel. (Can you tell I grew up in the hood? If you were in the woods, you were up to no good. PS - If you are ever in NY and in the woods and see a dude with a shovel - run like hell).

I completely agree...
Laurel K Hamilton has some really good covers like that - on several of the Anita Blake series books....which if you haven't read is hot... freaky...but very hot. *grin*

Ever thought about trying to recreate the image? I agree that it's very cool.

Are you sure that's a photo and not a painting? Jezebel could do some amazing stuff like that...
Speaking of Jezebel... I haven't seen her in awhile...

Yeah, THAT look...
*grin*
She's team Jacob though... I had to make her take a half naked photo of that guy off her cell phone.... explained to her that if she was a boy, I'd do the same... I'm not having a kid walking around with naked photos on the phone... her dad will die of a coronary... sheesh.

LOVE THIS SHOT! | I love it! That's actually the type of stuff I'm trying to do with my new "extreme" bridal series. I'm just trying to figure out how to pull it off and trying to learn more about photo manipulation. I have a whole bunch of samples from album covers and such in a folder to give me ideas. Some of them look a lot like this.

I was asked to shoot some designer wedding gowns and Im trying to decide if they'll kill me if I hand them back stuff like this.

You should def do some of the gowns with stuff like this! It's going to be the next thing, seriously. I've told my brides about this stuff, and their mothers, and they thought it was awesome! Now, I just have to figure out how to pull it off. I have the brides willing to let me experiment, but I need to get my butt moving and get some samples before other photogs really start doing this. That's what always happens to me. I have great ideas, but I do nothing about it. A year goes by, and it's all the craze, and I missed the boat. I've had this on my mind for at least 6 months lol.
