If all officers would act in accordance with the police officers code of conduct issues like this would not happen..
Convenient.

If all citizens would act appropriately and respectfully, a lot of this kind of stuff would not happen. Something to think about next time before you vomit insults at a police officer.

Did anyone see the paper today? Seems vandals broke in to the police sub station and stole all the commodes out of the bathrooms. With no leads to follow the police dont have anything to go on.

Police were called to a daycare where a three-year-old was resisting a rest.

lol there are no citation quotas~

however, disciplinary action on officers who don't 'write enough citations' depends on which city it takes place in. Usually they just want to see that the officers are doing something and push them to do so -a lot of times based on speed traps. It all depends on the situation.. and what kind of a police chief runs the town I suppose. cheers

ed: I guess I only read the first page not realizing there were five... lol

You know...maybe it wasn't their citation quota they were behind on, but their arrest quota. The OP didn't cop a big enough attitude to warrant that on the recording.

Sorry, I don't know what got into me on that one. I'm gonna stick to the other forums and stay out of the Open Talk Forum for a while.

I don't know enough about the inner workings of any police department to know whether quotas exist or not. One thing that doesn't seem to change is that there are always more than enough people breaking some kind of law that warrants a citation. Then they feel picked on when they get caught (not aimed at anyone in particular, just people in general).
