Warning for Dog Owners! - 02-01-2010, 05:48 PM

This was emailed to me by a friend and I thought it was important enough to pass on.

Please read!!!

If you are an owner of a dog even if it doesn't belong to a 'dangerous breed' category, and you also have a child or a visiting small child please take this as a warning:

Don't leave your dog with a small child unattended under any circumstances!!!

Only one little moment was enough for the following to happen.

See the photo below .....

Don't let this happen to your dog.

Thank you!

The Dog!

lol. When my kids were 2 yrs old, they both took markers and colored themselves in. My eldest is 4 years older and colored in her fingers, arms, legs, b/t her toes, and her belly button. She was a rainbow and soooooo proud of herself. My son (at the same age) was stuck in the car for a cross country trip. He colored is left arm, wrists, fingers, nailbeds, all totally blue. Then we'd stop and wash it off. Then he'd color the other arm green. Then we'd stop and wash it off. I finally said screw it and we walked into a Cracker Barrel for dinner with a 2 year old w/ one green arm and one blue arm!

I only have washable markers in my house.

Clearly the kid wanted a tiger -- and can you blame him! How cool would you have been as a kid if you had a pet Tiger?

Heh.. one of my friend's kids got their golden retriever to lay down, and she lathered him up with the following:

shampoo
toothpaste
shaving cream
nail polish

My friend said it took 6 months for the dog's coat to look normal again. (Apparently the nail polish stained the hair!)
