I so wanted them to make a good showing of it, but they started a little shaky. Finished off quite well, tho!

I don't expect 50 yr old women to look like 21 yr old women.

I don't expect The Who to sound like they are 21.

It was, at best difficult. Set up a stage, play with little warm up. little or no sound check.

And after a bit, they picked it up and performed.

That's what you expect from them.

Great light show, awesome stage, Classic Rock.

And no costume malfunction.....thank God.

At the same time, they've been playing these songs for what.....40+ years? After I've had 40 years of practice at something, I'd expect to be an expert! I know the sound isn't going to be the same as what you'd get out of the studio....but I do expect them to remember the damn words!

They sounded to me like their voices were shot after 40 years of use.
Guess you have to expect that with Great Grandpa bands.
I wasn't dissapointed though.

I like The Who's music for the classic standards they are, but the NFL is going to have to do better if they want the younger generations to care about the halftime show.
