The last time they did this campaign I went to my local Denny's an hour before the deadline.
They were in the parking lot with coupons for a free Grand Slam because they were "out of product" by then.
I will try that approach today. Then I can go there when it's not crowded.

Agreed! If I want to eat somewhere of that ilk, even IHOP has more to offer. Well, not much more. At least the Rooty Tooty is Fresh N' Fruity.

Went by at 1pm . still serving. line was very long and I didn't get out of my car. Popeyes instead. 8pcs dark. $3.99

it all sounds great. My wife and I have decided that I need to be a little more heart healthy. Yes I am drooling haven't had an omelet for a week, no fried anything, and no bacon. Thought I would look through the forum just to get through my saturated fat withdrawal and I find this thread. Its funny when you are trying to be good there is always something to tempt you. Call it karma, call it Murphy's law, but dang its so good to be bad (sometimes).

I haven't set foot inside of a Denny's since 98. I swore I would never go to one again after receiving the WORST service of my life.
Their service was never all that great to begin with, but this one particular time it was record breaking.

I prefer IHoP, but Denny's has some good skillets and scrambles if you are in a hurry. It's like most fast food / chain places - only go there if a mom & pop isn;t around.
In Houston I'd rather hit Momma's Cafe (westheimer), Cue's Burgers & More (S Post Oak @ Belfort) or New York Bagels & Deli (Hillcroft near Braeswood) for a far better Bfast, often much less expensive.

I ended up staying home and made pasta anyways: wanted alot of filling food, and pasta is that.
