Conservation: EagleCam | Outdoor Channel
I know that there has been a lot of discussion about the eagles in Baytown and thought that this might be of interest to forum members, especially those that are interested in the "Nature and Wildlife" section of the forum.
Have been watching the camera on and off for a couple of days and this particular nest has really endured the wrath of nature. I'm not a biologist, but I believe that the egg in the nest is no longer viable. The female has spent far too much time away from the nest during freezing weather just trying to survive the cold and snow. I watched a couple of nights ago while she sat on the nest through blizzard conditions and was completely covered with snow. It is beyond belief how much they are able to endure and still survive. It's probably late to start watching, but it's still very interesting to see the activities surrounding their everyday struggle to survive and raise their young. Hope everyone enjoys the videos.
Just a little footnote. I had problems getting the video to start. Just continue to alternate clicks on the start/stop button and the video will start playing. Enjoy.
