Woohoo! Gold!

Just got home from the Houston Addy's.
My website won a Gold Addy for best business to business website design under $5k. Of course it's my brother's studio, Culture Pilot, who deservedly gets the credit.

Just had to share. I had no idea he even entered it.

It was just funny because I was their supporting my wife's entry (which won gold as well in her catagory). My design studio doesn't enter for various reasons, and if you've never been it's boring as hell. Neither one of us wanted to be there but we went anyway. My brother and co didn't go at all, but we said we'd pick up his awards for him. So my job for the night was to get drunk on $8 drinks to pass the time. So we are sitting there and lil bro's entry comes up and I say, "Hey, there's Tim... Gold! Woohoo!" Then my wife immediately says, "Hey, there's YOU!" as the website is plastered across the video screen. It was pretty funny. Neither of us had any idea he entered it.
So the night wasn't a total waste of time afterall. ha!
