First Juried Photo Contest

So I bit the bullet today and entered this image: http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...k-lincoln.html into a juried photo competition. I'm actually nervous.. first time I've entered a juried contest... we'll see how it goes. Can't learn if you don't put yourself out there, right?

They are also having a "People's Choice" vote.. please note that I am not asking you to please go vote for me.. I am sharing the link because there are some pretty great shots in that gallery..

I think her eyes stand out in it. Doesn't hurt that they're an AMAZING blue, either.

I agree .. and that's one of the reasons I shared the link to the whole gallery, not just my image.

Good. I'm glad it is a legit contest. I was worried that it was going to be one of the many "juried contests" that are really just designed to make money off you. Most all of the PDN contests are good (but VERY hard to place in).

Yea, I know about all those scam contests .. never joined those. If I'm going to spend money on it, I would want the award to mean something. LOL
