I don't know anything about that camp in particular, but my one tip for sending a boy off to camp is to stock up on cheap t-shirts and shorts, towels, etc. that you don't care whether you get back or not. When our son was that age, I could not believe the ground-in, permanent dirt that came home with him from camp. And, they really love camp at that age - don't let the huge teardrops that might fall when the bus actually starts to load him up to head out be a reason for him to cancel at the last second (and I'm speaking of the ones that, despite however brave a front he puts on, may fall from his eyes - not yours - yours are a given, but just hide it till you are alone in your car). Once they get there and get busy, they have such a blast and all thoughts of calling home for you to come and get them go out the window.
