Places to shoot in Ft. Worth Texas - 02-22-2010, 01:41 PM

I have a band that wants to do a promo shoot,

Here is what they are thinking...
"As far as locations, I had in mind maybe something at river legacy park in Arlington, or there is a small area under the Fort Worth Stockyards that looks kinda cool and creepy. Gonna do a little more research on some things, but thinking something with a reportedly haunted history or creepy vibe"

Does anyone have any suggestions for a cool haunted creepy area around Dallas Ft. Worth? If you know of any abandoned buildings, cemeteries (one with a mausoleum), that are accessible without getting into trouble that would be great

I recently did a shoot at Old Alton Bridge (Goat Mans Bridge so that location is out)

Thanks

River Legacy is a huge park, I'm sure you can find plenty of spots in the wooded areas that would work.

In downtown FTW you can shoot by the old chuch w/the red doors without being bothered. (Don't know the name of the church. It's on the south side.)

Not sure about a Cemetery. You could check about shooting in Oakwood Cemetery.. I think it's one of the oldest in FTW.

Water gardens are cool, and sundance square provides a nice urban enviorment, The stock yards for a country feel, I guess it depends on what genre you are promoting.
