Snow! - 02-23-2010, 03:40 AM

Holy Crap there is a lot of snow on the ground.

looks like 3 to 4 inches out in the open, and some really large sized drift areas.

Not sure how many seperate snowfalls this is for the year, but quite a few more than normal.

I can't see the street in front of my house. That's unusual! Usually snow melts on the street and doesn't accumulate.

It was accumulating on our street when I left for work at 6 and they've delayed the schools. I'm seriously ready for spring.

We even got a bit of snow here, and it is still snowing.....but the roads seem to be fine, and Brownwood ISD didn't close.

Stop it. I've missed all the snow. Not fair! Stupid Gulf Coast.

It is snowing in Killeen this morning. The temps are falling so this may stick and make lunch time and the drive home hazardous. Tomorrow morning is when it'll be really bad though, after the nights freeze.

But for now, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

It's going to be real interesting if we get it down in Houston again.

Very light dusting in northeast Tarrant County (north of Fort Worth). Lamest snowstorm ever!

2" in Killeen and it is still coming down. KISD is letting students be picked up, but busses run the normal time. I spoke to one of my son's teachers and she said they can't do anything today productive, too many kids are gone. So those there just get to look outside and do nothing.

From my iPhone, it is a cold day to work in the lighthouse.
